"Equus, Semper" places Gaetano Zampogna’s investigation of the horse within an exhibition devoted to equestrian imagery and its transformation into a public language. The poster presents the exhibition by Artes Faveo and Ippodromo&Città, curated by Bruna Condoleo, and lists works by Empedocle Amato, Alejandro Kokocinsky, Mimmo Pesce, Mario Schifano, Gaetano Zampogna, Ugo Cossu, Mimmo Paladino and Ugo Ugolini. For Zampogna, the presence of the horse relates to the "Cavalli" series, in which speed, power and myth become means of questioning the relation between bodily energy, spectacle and the cultural construction of experience. The animal thus remains suspended between lived reality and public representation: a concrete presence and, at the same time, a shared symbol.
