La tua carta turns the individual promise of gambling into a device that gives the body the same uncertainty as a prize still awaiting verification. In the «Scratch & Win» series, Zampogna does not simply depict the lottery. He adopts its grammar to show how desire is organised by commercial formulas, prohibitions and abstract possibilities. The possessive appeal of the title seems to address a recipient directly, yet what it delivers is not a usable instrument. Instead, it is a scene in which personal identity is absorbed into the serial language of luck.

The bent and rotated figure disrupts the impersonal graphic order without escaping its authority. Its posture makes orientation unstable and turns the body into an element subject to the rules of the game, as if human presence also had to be read, checked or validated. Around it, the words «LA TUA CARTA», the red rectangle and the warning «ATTENZIONE! NON GRATTARE QUI» reconstruct the prescriptive tone of commercial communication, but lead to no conclusive action. The saturated colour marks out a silent promise, while the prohibition identifies a possible gesture only to prevent it. The paper surface thus becomes an incomplete contract between expectation and frustration.

The work brings the contamination between «real reality» and «media reality» into the subject’s very perception. A figure no longer stands beside an advertising code: the body is already caught within its syntax and shares its opacity. The mediocre catharsis associated with the prize is therefore not rejected through an external denunciation, but made unworkable from within. What remains for the viewer is a card that addresses them as its owner while withholding rules, outcome and control, making expectation the true condition of the game.
